Hello and welcome to my web site. Since 1991 I have been working to be the best mobile DJ in the Tri-State area. I have the most up-to-date sound and lighting equipment to give you the special day you deserve, whatever the occasion.
With over 14,000 songs in mp3 and mp4 format (and growing weekly) you can be sure I'll have the music you and your guests want to hear. Having these songs available through a combination of laptop mixer and iPod mixer provides you with quick search and play availability.
I have music from the 40's (Some from the 30's even!) all the way through today's top hits. Country, Hip-Hop, Rock, Easy Listening, Ball Room; I have over a 95% success rate for all requests.
I have played Weddings, New Year's Eve Parties, Company Christmas Parties, High School Reunions from four different decades, 50th Wedding Anniversaries, and even a 5th Grade Dance! I take pride in being able to provide the music people want to hear, no matter the age or diversity of musical tastes.
Of course, song selection doesn't matter that much if your sound system is poor. I have a state-of-the-art bi-amped rack mounted sound system that features a powered 18" JBL 500 w RMS (1300 w peak) sub-woofer. This system can fill any hall with an available 123 db of sound pressure, but I am always sensitive to the needs of the audience, and will make sure I'm not too loud, unless I'm asked to "turn it up" by the event owner. I frequently only use about 25% of my available watts. This provides a crisp, high quality sound experience that always gets compliments from the audience.
In addition to a top tier sound system, I have the latest DMX computer controlled lighting. This system includes both scanners (with lasers) and moving head fixtures, in addition to the classic "disco ball" and strobe. I have a professional fogger/ hazer that makes this light show really pop by making each shaft of light visible, but I always leave the fog off if requested by the event owner.
